Junkaremålsskolan is a grades 7-9 school located in Tranås. The upper secondary school accommodates about 400 students and 50 staff members. Our operations provide opportunities for student coaches, support educators, and student health to support students' development and learning. You will work as a teaching teacher alongside the principal and colleagues to provide students with the best education possible. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a special educator, you will work to support students in achieving their goals and be responsible for ensuring that students in need of special support are recognized and receive the appropriate form of support. You will be responsible for the administration of assessments, action plans, and technical aids. The role involves developing the learning environments at the school. Through consultations, observations, and guidance, you will support educators in their work to create accessible and inclusive teaching.

You will have contact and collaborate with students, guardians, teachers, mentors, school management, EHT, and other school staff as well as external partners as needed. Your work may take place at the individual, group, and school levels, depending on needs. Your role as a special educator will be central in supporting and developing students' learning. You will work closely with both students and teachers to create an inclusive and supportive environment where all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher and trained special educator with the qualifications to teach grades 7-9. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them in your daily work. We would also like you to have experience in assessment and diagnosis using Logos.
